The Washington State Cougars will now start their season two days earlier than previously thought. The WSU opener, coming against Brigham Young University, has been moved from Saturday, Sept. 1 to Thursday, Aug. 30. The reason for this is that the game is part of ESPN#39;s 2012 College Football Primetime Thursday night schedule.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL Three Arkansas football players, including wide receivers Marquel Wade and Maudrecus Humphrey, were arrested Saturday and charged with burglarizing dorm rooms in Fayetteville. Coach John L. Smith indefinitely suspended the three players in his first test of discipline since being hired to replace Bobby Petrino last month.
